Change your plan

Once you have a paid subscription you can move between Starter, Professional and Business from the Billing page, without cancelling anything. Only the workspace owner can change plan. Choose Switch plan on the plan you want.

Upgrading

An upgrade takes effect as soon as it is paid for. Before you commit, Delrity shows you exactly what you will pay: a prorated charge for the rest of your current billing period, worked out from the part of your current plan you have not used yet.

1. 1Go to Billing and choose Switch plan on a higher plan.
2. 2Check the confirmation: the amount due today, your new monthly price and your next renewal date.
3. 3Choose the pay button. You are taken to PayFast to pay the prorated amount.
4. 4When PayFast confirms the payment, your new plan applies and your recurring monthly amount is updated.

• Your renewal date does not move. The new monthly price starts at your next renewal.
• The prorated payment is separate from your monthly renewal.
• You are only ever charged the amount shown in the confirmation. If it changes while you are looking at it, you are asked to try again.
• If your payment went through but the plan change did not finish, Billing offers a retry that does not charge you again.

Downgrading

A downgrade never takes anything away early. Your current plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and your plan then changes to the lower one at the lower monthly price. Until then Billing shows a Downgrade scheduled notice with a Cancel downgrade button, in case you change your mind.

When you cannot switch

• Auto-renew must be on. If you have turned it off, turn it back on first. Once the subscription has been closed with PayFast, you can subscribe to a new plan after your paid period ends.
• A payment that is outstanding has to be sorted out first.
• Only one plan change can be open at a time. Finish or cancel a pending one before starting another.
• On the free trial there is nothing to switch. Choose the plan you want and subscribe.

What you keep either way

• Your websites, content and images.
• Your products, orders and coupons, even while a store is closed.
• Your team members. A downgrade never removes anybody, it just stops you adding more.
• Your custom domain. It is not disconnected when you move to a lower plan, but a plan without custom domains cannot connect another one, and the Powered by Delrity credit comes back on your site.
