Add photos to your catalogue

Uploading a photo per item on the Catalogue layout, and what Starter sees instead.

Only the Catalogue layout shows photos - it renders each item as a card with an image, a name and a price. The Menu and Price list layouts are text-only by design, so there is nothing to upload there.

Tip: Photo uploads are a Professional and Business capability. The Menu & Catalogue section itself - including the Catalogue layout - is available on Starter too, but Starter's photo slots stay locked rather than hidden, so it is always clear what upgrading unlocks.

Uploading a photo

  1. 1Set the section's layout to Catalogue.
  2. 2Open an item and find its image field.
  3. 3Choose Upload and select a photo from your device.
  4. 4Save your website.
  • JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF and AVIF, up to 4MB each.
  • Not every item needs a photo - a card without one still shows its name and price.
  • Replacing a photo does not use up another slot in your photo limit - only adding a new one does.
Tip: On Starter, the upload control shows as locked with a short note rather than disappearing - the same philosophy as locked templates: nothing is hidden, it is just clearly gated.
