Menu & Catalogue
Set up your Menu & Catalogue section
Categories, items and the three layouts a Menu & Catalogue section can use.
The Menu & Catalogue section is a no-checkout way to showcase what you offer - a restaurant menu, a salon's treatment list, a barber's price list or a boutique lookbook. It is available on every plan, including Starter.
Tip: This is not the same as the online store. It has no cart, no stock and no payments - customers read it, they do not buy from it. Businesses that need real checkout use commerce (Business plan), which is a separate capability.
Choosing a layout
- Menu - two columns with a dotted price leader between the name and the price. The classic restaurant menu.
- Price list - grouped rows with the price aligned right. Reads well for services.
- Catalogue - product-style cards with an image and a price. The only layout that shows photos.
- 1Open your website and find the Menu & Catalogue group in the editor.
- 2Choose a layout from the dropdown - you can change this at any time without losing your content.
- 3Add a category, then add items to it.
- 4Fill in each item's name, description, price and an optional tag such as "New" or "Bestseller".
Tip: Switching layout never deletes anything. Your categories and items are the same data underneath all three - only how they are displayed changes.
